I think maybe we need to add something more to the logic? (see in red) Other
idea is prevent user from adding an alternate to a main menu item it is not served with (in menu).
But this may get tricky in the UI because we would have to check from both ends…
when user is putting in alternates, or when user is putting in serve withs…
Logic will:
• Grab all main choices that are not also marked as an accompaniment
• See if an item is unsuitable or disliked
• NO: continue and add to order summary + :Order accompaniment items
• YES: check if no-alternate-needed is selected, if yes, skip this menu line, don't hold
• Otherwise, find all alternates and see one by one in defined order which one is suitable and not disliked.
• If found, check if alternate is an accompaniment to any menu item(s). Check if any of those menu item(s) has been added to meal order.
If yes, add to order summary + :Order accompaniment items
If no, do not add to order summary.
• If not found, hold order
• + :Order accompaniment items
• Assume we found suitable menu item using existing algorithm, this will be regular MenuLine (ML), or therapeutic override TherapeuticMenuLine (TML)
• Find the accompaniments for this menu line, then for each accompaniment
• If the main item is ML (regular) then try to use ML (regular) accompaniment item itself, otherwise if it's TML then check if we have exclusion or replacement for the same therapeutic menu and use that
• If accompaniment is unsuitable or disliked, check if no-alternate-needed is selected, if yes, skip this menu line, don't hold
• Otherwise, find all alternates and see one by one in defined order which one is suitable and not disliked
• If found add to order summary + :Order accompaniment items
• If available, add to order summary
This is crazy a*s s#^t
:)
